Autumn Acres
Saturday was Fall Fun Day sponsored by our church. The church paid for our admission to Autumn Acres and a lot of fun was had by all! I won't bother captioning for each picture (yes, I know, I took a lot. And I'm not even posting all of them).

Sundays!
After church on Sunday, and after quiet time/nap time, we went outside. The weather was beautiful and we had a chance to get outside and enjoy it. We took a hay rack ride with the kids. Below is a view of the cows in the pasture.

Eliza being silly on the ride.

A touching moment between sisters.

Are we crazy or normal?
Whew! It seems like we've had a lot of instances of "Are we crazy or normal" just in the last week!
I think it all started on Sunday when Emmet wouldn't get dressed for church (this is pretty normal). He ends up being the last one and I have to dress him. So, that's what I did . . . I put his church clothes on him. Two hours later, halfway through church, I notice that his pants are a little bulky and that's when I notice that I had put his church pants ON OVER HIS PAJAMAS! WAS I NOT THINKING?
Then on another day last week, Ephraim is getting undressed from school and says, "Hmmm, guess I had two pairs of underwear on today." HE DIDN'T LEARN THAT AT HOME! ? !
Took all four kids to Target by myself last Saturday morning. Come home and find out that the bathroom sink faucet had been running the entire time. Guess I better add that to my checklist of things to check before leaving the house, AS IF I NEED TO ADD TO THAT LIST.
Tuesday, I decided that Emmet need to go to the doctor for an infected Molluscum and I get a call back from them at 3pm that we can get in as soon as we can get there. Well, that leaves no time to change clothes or clean up. I scooped everyone up and we left for the doctor. We totally showed up AS IS. Eden was wearing boy shoes and her shirt looked like we'd used it as a kleenex all day (WHICH IS TRUE). Eliza's hair was an absolute disarray and she had some crusty food it in. AND THEN THERE'S EMMET. STILL IN HIS PAJAMAS AT 3PM. He had breakfast and lunch remants on his cheeks. Ephraim was dirty from school and stickers all over his t-shirt. AND I DIDN'T LOOK MUCH BETTER THAN ALL OF THE KIDS COMBINED.
The other night Emmet comes out of their room shortly after going to bed and mumbles something about pajamas. I decide to investigate and there stands Eliza, in her crib, WAIVING HER DIAPER AROUND AS IF TO SAY "NA, NA, NA, BOO BOO". Yes, she completely undressed herself.
We may not be perfect but our kids are loved and they know it. We may not always be clean but we have a lot of fun getting dirty. We may do some crazy things but we make a lot of memories.
