We celebrated New Years Eve with friends from church at church. We snacked and played games until it was time to go home (about 9:30 for us).

Some "Minute-To-Win-It" games were planned for the adults and the kids. We all had a good time with this and it really helped to keep the kids focused on something other than running around. Here the kids are rolling a marble on the table and trying to get it to stop on the double-sided sticky tape at the other end. This is Ephraim and Allie trying it.

And then Eliza and Levi. Eliza actually got a few to stick. See below!

Trace and Emmet trying it.

And the next game. Dip your nose in vaseline, then get a cotton ball to stick to it and then drop the ball in the "bowl", all without using your hands.

Seth racing against Dan!

Ephraim going again.

Another game. This time they had to put together the puzzle in one minute. The puzzle was the front of a cereal box! Levi and Ephraim are trying the Rice Krispies puzzle.

Me and Emmet doing it! I think we had it in 30 seconds!

Ephraim and Sevanna with the Chex Mix puzzle. It was a bit harder! Eden and Levi are watching closely.

After a while, Eden decided that she'd rather read a book about Jesus than watch the silly games.

And she had to be all dressed up for the party!

And then this game--shooting rubber bands at a pop can tower.

Hitting a couple of cans!

Seth taking his turn!

The last game. Trying to knock over pop cans with a Tinker Toy tied to a string from your waist. Not as easy at it looks.

Seth and I did this game too, but no pictures of it, sorry! Anyway, Happy New Years!
We don't know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. May you be blessed by God this coming year!
