Tuesday and Wednesday were both snow days, at home from work and school. And now it sounds like Thursday there is no school either. 
How is the livestock holding up? I tried asking them, but they didn't give much response. I think they're doing pretty well since they have a warm barn and bedding.
And the chickens appreciate me brining them fresh water three times a day. When it's zero degrees, their water doesn't stay thawed for long. I bring out a fresh waterer and trade if for the frozen one. And so the cycle goes when it's this cold.

When it is as snowy and as windy as it was on Tuesday, you find snow where it shouldn't be. There is two windows here and it came through both and rested on the window ledge. We're glad we had plastic over this window!
