This is a story I forgot to include in the Fall Fun post a couple days ago. We were preparing for the fun night and I knew I wanted the kids to stay warm despite being outside in the cool evening. This called for long underwear. I was explaining to the children how thermal wear worked--it has been a year since we've had winter weather you know. After explaining that you wear it under your jeans it was time to pass out the thermals to everyone. Of course, Emmet was a bit obstinate and never did put his on. The girls would actually be wearing a pair of tights under their jeans.
Eliza was watching Eden take off her pants, put her tights on and then put on her pants again. Quite the process, but worth it. However Eliza, in typical Eliza fashion, wrinkled her nose . . . raised the left half of her lip . . . scrunched her forehead . . . and said "I think I'll just wear my short undies."
Haha. She didn't want to wear long undies, she preferred her regular underwear. :)
