Seth does a lot of trucking for Pioneer in the winter. They haul seed beans from the farmers' bins to the plant by Hedrick. Some of the days are long and some are not. Some of the days he travels a long ways and others are short day. Sometimes he knows ahead of time what type of day it will be and sometimes not. On Friday, the 27th, he knew he'd have a short day. Emmet got to ride along for the morning!
Emmet packed his Dot to Dot and his school books along to do while waiting to get loaded.
Emmet felt pretty special in his Pioneer safety hat and Pioneer safety goggles! I think it is safe to say that he had a good time. Both Seth and Emmet enjoyed their time together. It is important for each child to get some alone time with us as parents and this is just one way we work that in.
