It was Saturday evening and I had to go outside to get the laundry. Eliza wanted to come and help. While I could have done this job a lot quicker without a "shadow", I saw this as an opportunity and welcomed her help. First job: find a bucket for her to stand on so she can reach the clothesline. The pig feed bucket was perfect. She set to work right way and unclipped the clothes while I grabbed them and folded them. Then she was very diligent in getting the clips back on the clothesline. She did an excellent job of balancing on the bucket, holding onto the clothesline and taking great pride in her work. I'm glad I let her tag along.
