Summer time in Iowa is synonymous with Sweet Corn. They go hand in hand. Always. You can't be from Iowa and not have sweet corn in the summer. So here it is, our obligatory pictures of the children with their first ear of corn.
We always have some sweet corn to eat. Some to freeze for later. And some to give away if the crop is good The crop is just starting to be ready and since we've planted at different intervals, we'll have some for weeks to come. Especially since we've been watering it.
