Our last calf was born on Tuesday. This is Eliza, who had to rush outside to check out the new calf in her boots and jammie dress.

"Gonna take a walk outside today, gonna see what we can find today!" (From Milo and Otis) We enjoy taking walks down to the crick when the cattle aren't in the pasture and the electric fences are off. Here's Ephraim, Emmet and Eliza looking for treasures in the water. We found some crawdad pinches (?) and a few small fish. Where's Eden? Crying at my feet because she developed a blister on her heel about 1/3 of the way through the trip :( And this mom didn't have any band-aids packed. I did carry her back up to the house.

We had a paper airplane night. The boys got paper airplane books for Christmas. They're great because they have instruction pages and tear out pages with cool graphics and fold lines to make each airplane, three times!
