Palm Sunday

Mark 11:7-9 "When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, 'Hosanna!' 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!' "

The children participated in Palm Sunday services by coming down the center aisle with palm branches. And then they sang "Days of Elijah". This has come to be one of their favorite songs!

Ephraim enthusiastically waving his palm branch.

Emmet running with his branch! He wasn't the only one who broke out into a sprint to get to the stage.

And here come my girls. Eliza and then Eden.

First service performance.

Ephraim with one of his best buddies Micah--waiting for 2nd service.

" . . . behold he comes . . ."

" . . . shining like the sun . . .."

" . . . at the trumpet call . . . "

" . . . lift your voice, its the year of Jubilee and out of Zion's hill salvation comes!"

Ephraim's in the middle, top row. Emmet's almost directly below him. The girls are in the front row in their "Christmas dresses." Hey, I had to get one more use out of them, right?

" . . . there is no God like Jehovah . . ."

And then we put on our own mini performance for Seth's Great Grandparents, our own choir of 5--me and the kids. They always enjoy hearing from the kids about church and Sunday School and homeschool. What a privilege it is to visit with them every Sunday after church.

We hope that you've had time to reflect on Holy Week and what it means to you and your family. We hope that you've had time to teach your children the importance of Easter.
