Spring has Sprung

We've had some very pleasant weather for the first week of April. It wasn't 80 degrees like we had in March but still 65 to 70 is pretty nice.

Here we are taking a walk to crick. The kids like to run ahead and then jump down in the alfalfa. With the alfalfa getting taller they were almost completely hid from view. Then they would pounce when a sibling passed by.

Eliza enjoyed picking a bouquet of flowers otherwise known as dandelions.

"May Eliza set about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks." Proverbs 31:17

The boys like to walk on the opposite side of the crick and explore it.

"May Eden be clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Proverbs 31: 25

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31: 30.

May the Lord take pleasure in Eliza, and adorn the humble with salvation. (Psalm 149:4)

Time to walk back up to the houses.

We made a wish on Emmet's dandelion and watched the seeds blow away.

It was nice enough outside to do our Little House on the Prairie reading outside. It was windy so I have my hood up. Eliza is not bothered by the cool breeze.

May Eden know that God Himself is our peace. Ephesians 2:14

May Emmet be like the wise man, whose heart inclines him to the right. Ecclesiastes 10:2

  1. The Proverbs 31:30 picture of Eliza is absolutely stunning! I love it!
