Christmas Program Practice

Prior to our Christmas program last Sunday night, we had practice on Sunday morning, the 9th and Saturday morning, the 8th.  Here are some pictures from practice.

Eden & Eliza are in the back row on the right, singing "Away in a Manger."

Eden saying her part "The white on the candy is there to show . . . ."  The 5 year olds were saying lines that related to the story of the candy cane.  They each only had a phrase to say.  It was just right for their age group.
Eliza's line was "And Jesus is why we celebrate each December."

They sang a cute song about not waking up Baby Jesus.

The 1st and 2nd graders spelled out Merry Christmas and had each letter relate back to the Christmas story.  Emmet's line was "E-engaged to Joseph who was from David's family tree."

Ephraim's classes sang two more popular Christmas praise songs.

A few photos from Saturday's practice:

For a bit, they had everyone on stage, 6th grade to 2 1/2 year olds to sing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."  It was video recorded and then played at the concert Sunday night.  That's 75 kids up there!

Ephraim's class had to memorize more than one line.  His particular group is talking about family traditions at Christmas time.  He had to say "Our family, during Advent, makes a Christmas ornament each day that relates to a Christmas devotion."

Everyone did a great job at both practices.  Program pictures to come soon.
