Help Wanted: Cement workers & watchers

Oh, seriously, how many pictures can one person take of a small cement job! Well, you're about to find out. And this isn't even all of them :)
We answered the call to help Grandpa Harold pour a small slab of cement in front of his shop.
Here we are just getting started.

The watchers. They did a pretty good job of it.

The boys were eager to help--they had their boots on and their shovels in their hands.

Trying to keep busy while watching.

The inspection crew.

I thought this was cute of Eliza looking out the window when she could have just looked out the door.

And then Eliza went up to Grandpa Harold. . . .

Takin' a break.

Watching is hard work.

Ephraim graduated from his small shovel to a large rake. Ephraim also did a good job of rescuing 3 toads from becoming fossils.

Emmet, learning from Grandpa.

Watch'a thinking, Eliza?

And then the fun part . . . handprints in the cement.

Eliza's turn . . .

and Eden's turn.
