On Sunday, July 21, my mom and sister's kids came over for Sunday lunch and some afternoon togetherness. Mom was watching Garret & Alyssa while Jim, Amber & Dad went on RAGBRAI, a bike ride across the state of Iowa.
We had lunch and then it was time to get outside before the rain came.
We were sitting in the yard watching the boys have fun on the 4-wheelers.
This is Eden & Grandma.
That's Garret on the 4-wheeler. You can see the storm clouds moving in from the south. We had the barrels set up so they would know where to turn and what the limits were. They were not racing.
The rain came so we were inside playing games. This is Eliza and Grandma playing Guess Who. This is a favorite game of ours.
And a family gathering isn't complete without a game of Spit. The boys were really getting into it and making some ninja-type moves when they played their cards.
Everyone had a lot of fun together!
