Sunday, the 28th, we planned a last minute fishing afternoon at Seth's parents' farm pond. After quiet time we headed over for coffeetime, some fishing and then a weiner roast. The weather was perfect, not your typical July afternoon.
The boys were eager to get their poles in the water.
The girls have their own poles, too and were excited to try and catch a fish.

We wish we would have had a little bit more success with the fish, but the children enjoyed trying. It was a great afternoon to be on the pond and to use the kayak, too. Just another day to add to our summertime memories!
