It isn't very often that my children are taken to the movie theatre. In fact, the last time was last summer when CARS 2 came out. Fast forward to this summer and we heard that Madagascar 3 would be in the theatre. We've already seen Madagascar 1 & 2 and both were good, so we were excited to see this one. We had Wednesday afternoon free, so we took in the afternoon show (cheaper & less crowded than a weekend night).
Waiting for the movie to start. We had packed a few snacks and we were good to go. We pretty much had the theatre to ourselves with only about 4 other families attending the same show.
My review of the movie: very cute and funny. It was very clean and appropriate for children. If the DVD is out by Christmas time, it just might make its way into a Christmas stocking. The kids enjoyed it and are still talking about some of the funny parts.
