Wet and Wild!

We've already been having a few warmish days.  When a cooler day hits, we're pretty quick to open the windows and shut off the air conditioner.  But when it gets up to 75 in the house, we turn on the air and    look for water activities to do outside.  We hooked up our slip and slides from last year and let the kids have some fun in the water.
Enjoying the slip and slide!  Yes, we have two slides there, one right after the other.  One alone is just too short, especially for Ephraim who just keeps growing!  Both of these were leftover from last year but are getting a few rips and tears so I'm sure we'll have to get another one before summer is over.

Eliza after taking a trip down the slide!

Here comes Eden!  We add a "tinch" of dish soap to the slide--making it nice and slippery.
The boys were looking for more of a challenge.  They were using their snow sleds to go down the slide.  Then they both tried to go down the slide standing up!
Emmet had fun trying that trick, too!

Then it was time for snack time. . . one of our summer favorites is ice cream cones.
This is a picture of Eden in all of her glorious messiness.  She did enjoy her ice cream cone though.  I made her go down the slide a couple more times to clean off her stickiness!

We just love these moments where we can be outside, as a family and just let the kids be kids.  Enjoying the farm, nature and summertime activities at its fullest.
