We kept our next three ornaments fairly simple. For the cradle ornament, we simply colored a picture of a cradle and hung it up. The significance of the cradle comes from Genesis 21, where Abraham and Sarah are given a son even in their old age. God had answered their prayers.
Our next ornament, the ram is from Genesis 22. God was checking to see if Abraham would obey Him by preparing to sacrifice Isaac. God saw Abraham's heart of obedience and sent a ram to be sacrificed instead. For the ram, we glued cotton balls and wiggly eyes onto a picture of a ram.
Eden's ram (the cotton balls were on the back side).
