Jesse Tree: Star Ornament

After the corn cob camels, we were needing a simple craft (for mama's sake). We opted for a yellow star cut from craft foam and then we glued on yellow sequins. Simple enough!


The Bible passage for this ornament is from Genesis 15. God made a promise to Abraham and Sarah that their descendents would be more numerous than the stars. (Although the girls thought the star represented the wise men following the star, which wouldn't techncially be wrong).


We're using q-tips to apply the glue (mostly because the glue tops were clogged). Everyone was able to do their own and enjoyed this craft, even though it was simple. The kids enjoyed this one just as much as the others. In fact, I think the variety is good for them.
